Kempinski Holds Easter Party for Children in Harbin

Children in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, spent a meaningful and pleasant Easter night at Kempinski Hotel Harbin on April 1, 2018.

Easter is a religious festival to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It falls on the first Sunday after March 21 each year. Easter eggs and bunnies are symbols of the festival as they represent the birth of new life.

Children at the party were able to enjoy themselves by painting Easter eggs, eating from a buffet, and hunting for eggs hidden around the hotel. Every child was also given a chocolate-made bunny or egg as an Easter gift.

A charity event was held during the Easter party, hosted by the hotel and internet giant Sina. Participants were encouraged to donate books, school supplies and sports equipment for left-behind children, whose parents are working in China’s big cities.
