Transit Train from Harbin to Urumchi and Fuzhou Will Be Opened on 15th Next Month

The journalist learns from the Railway Authority that new train diagram will be implemented since the 15th next month. This is a large-scale train diagram adjustment implemented by the Railway Authority since the past ten years. At the appointed time, Harbin Railway Bureau will firstly open the train line from Qiqihar to Urumchi via Harbin, and the train line directly from Harbin to Fuzhou. The CRH train directly from Harbin to Zhengzhou will be opened as well.


A The transit train to Urumchi and Fuzhou opens for the first time
After implementing the newdiagram from the 15th next month, Harbin Railway Bureau will increase 16 pairs of passenger trains, and train K1084/1 from Qiqihar to Urumchi via Harbin and train K1548/5 from Harbin to Fuzhou are firstly opened. It’s said that after opening the 16 pairs of passenger trains, the total number of fixed passenger trains at Harbin Railway Bureau will increase to 226 pairs. In addition, another 5 pairs of trains will be upgraded into “K” initialed trains, 13 pairs of trains will be stopped, and the terminals of many trains will be adjusted.

It’s introduced that train K1084/1 from Qiqihar to Urumchi via Harbin will departure Qiqihar Railway Station at 6 o’clock, and arrive at South Urumchi Railway Station at 19:48 on the third day. The one way duration of the journey is 61 hours, and the total distance is 4818 km. The train passes by 7 provinces, 2 districts and 1 city-Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu and Xinjiang, with 47 stops at railway stations in Daqing, Harbin West, Changchun, Shenyang North, Jinzhou, Tangshan, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Wuwei, Jiayuguan, Turpan and Urumchi South, and etc.

Train K1548/5 from Harbin to Fuzhou: The train departures Harbin Railway Station at 16:57 and arrives at Fuzhou Railway Station at 14:14 on the third day. The one way duration of the journey is nearly 46 hours, and the total distance is 3321 km. The train passes by 9 provinces and 1 city-Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Fujian, with 39 stops at railway stations in Changchun, Shenyang North, Jinzhou, Tangshan, Tianjin, Hengshui, Heze, Jiujiang, Wuyishan and Fuzhou, etc.


B The duration by CRH Train to Zhengzhou is shortened by 7 hours
After this diagram adjustment, Harbin Railway Bureau will also firstly open the CRH train G1262/3 directly from Harbin to Zhengzhou. After the opening, the existing CRH trains from Harbin to Wuhan, Shanghai, Qingdao, Dandong and other destinations will be connected with the national high-speed train network, and more convenient and faster travel options will be provided for the passengers.

CRH Train G1262/3 departures Harbin West Railway Station at 11:14, passes by 5 provinces and 1 city-Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin and Henan. With 33 stops at the railway stations in Changchun West, Shenyang North, Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Tianjin West, Baoding East, Shijiazhuang, Handan East and Zhengzhou, etc. The train arrives at Zhengzhou East Railway Station at 22:03, and the total duration is 10 hours and 49 minutes. It realizes morning departure and evening arrival. After opening of this CRH train, the total duration of the journey will be shortened by 7 hours comparing with the current direct common train with the shortest duration of 18 hours, and it will realize the fast high speed train commuting between Heilongjiang and Henan.


C High Speed Trains from Harbin to Qiqihar Every 10 to 50 Minutes
After implementing the new diagram, the high speed CRH trains from Harbin to Qiqihar will be increased from the current 31 pairs to 34 pairs, and the running density will be increased. At that time, the interval between two trains will be 10 to 50 minutes.

In addition, after adjusting the diagram, the trains from Harbin to Shanghai, from Harbin to Haikou, from Harbin to Chongqing and from Harbin to Guilin and other destinations will be generally ispeed-up.

Among these speed-up trains, there are 11 trains with total duration shortened by above 1 hour, and the one with the largest cut of total duration is the train 1490/89 from Jiamusi to Tianjin, the one way total duration is shortened by 3 hours and 10 minutes; next to it is the train 2096/5 from Jiamusi to Panjin, and the one way total duration is shortened by 2 hours and 26 minutes.
