Day By Day

Day 1 Arrival in Shanghai
Upon arriving in Shanghai, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel. The rest of the day for your free relax, or explore Shanghai on your own.

 

Day 2 Shanghai
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund, Nanjing Road
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and full day guide tour to visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower where has best viewing spot of Shanghai located by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high. Followed by a visit to the Yu Garden. The garden used to be a private garden with 400 years' history; it features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. After that, have a free walk on the nearby Old Street and transfer to visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Free at leisure on the Bund and Nanjing Road.

Recommended evening activity: Acrobatic Night Show.


Day 3 Shanghai/Huangshan
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Hongcun Village, Tunxi Old Street
Take a morning flight to Huangshan. And then drive to visit Hong Cun Village. It is an ancient village of over 800 years and wins the reputation of "The Chinese town in the pictures". The famous movie "Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon" was partly filmed here.

 

Day 4 Huangshan
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Yellow Mountain
Take 1.5-hour drive to the foot of Yellow Mountain. Ascend the eastern side of the mountain by cable car, and then begin the 7 km (4.3 mile) hike to the western side of the mountain. On the hike we will take in Huangshan's most spectacular views and ascend its highest peak - Lotus Peak (5,900 ft). If weather is fine, watch the beautiful sunset. Stay overnight on the top of the Mt. Huangshan.


Day 5 Huangshan/Hangzhou
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain, Begin-to Believe Peak
In the morning, if you wake up early, you will catch the spectacular sunrise. You will then have breakfast in your hotel before continuing your tour of the mountain. After breakfast you will visit Begin-to Believe Peak before taking a cable car back down the mountain to your car. You will then be driven to the bus station to take a bus to Hangzhou. The bus journey takes about 3-3.5 hours. Upon arriving at Hangzhou West Bus Station, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel.


Day 6 Hangzhou
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: West Lake, Feilai Peak, Lingyin Temple, 18 Imperial Dragon Well Tea Trees
After you have had breakfast in your hotel, you will be driven to West Lake, the most famous lake in china. You will be enthralled by the many legends that have made this spot one of the most popular destinations for the Chinese people. After visiting West Lake, you will be driven to Feilai Peak and marvel at its ancient Buddhist rock carvings. You will then go to the Lingyin Temple located behind Feilai Peak. The temple is the largest Buddhist Temple in China and its architecture and gardenlike atmosphere never fails to captivate visitors. You will then visit the 18 Imperial Dragon Well Tea Trees and sip Dragon Well (Longjing) Tea in beautiful traditional pavilions located on the mountainside nestled amongst tea trees.


Day 7 Hangzhou/Harbin
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: St. Sofia Church, Central Street, Winter Swimming Show and the Ice Lantern Show
In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Harbin. Upon your arrival in Harbin, you will be driven to visit the St. Sofia Church. With Byzantine style and meaning of 'God's wisdom' for name, the church looks so beautiful as if it had been made by God's hands. It was first built in 1907 and rebuilt into brick and wood structure in 1912. It is the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East. After visiting the St. Sofia Church.

Afterwards, you will take a stroll at Central Street, which is the business center and most prosperous street of Harbin city. It's a good place to see architectural styles as well as for shopping and taste different Cuisine. 

Ice Lantern Fair, also named the Ice Lantern Show, it is hold every year from 5th January to the end of February in Zhaolin Park. The park located in the downtown, it is a small and peaceful place. Still you can see pretty ice sculptures without many crowded. Especially at night when the ice sculptures are lit then which looks like a magical world.


Day 8 Harbin
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Snow Sculpture Art Expo on Sun Island, Siberian Tiger Park, Ice and Snow World
In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, you will be driven to Sun Island Scenic Area (Tai Yang Dao). It's a great place for escaping the hot summer with cool weather and nice scenery, flowers, lakes and cute animals in the forest. When it comes to winter the island will be covered by thick snow and there will be a world-famous snow sculpture show: International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. There are various of massive, huge snow sculptures which is so impressive and amazing.

Then you will make an safari-style adventure in the Siberian Tiger Park. Siberian Tiger Park located on the north bank of the Songhua River. It is the largest natural park for wild Siberian tigers of China, even in the world. There are over 500 Siberian tigers this park. Here you can see wild tigers closely and take some fantastic photos.

In the evening you will go to visit the Ice and Snow World. Located on the north bank of the Songhua River, the Ice and Snow Amusement World is a major attraction of Harbin Interactional Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival dunging the winter. There are full of awesome ice and snow sculptures created by artists from all around world. Kind note that please wear enough layers of proper clothes and warm shoes to keep you away form the freeze especially when you want to stay there longer to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

 

Day 9 Harbin/Yabuli

Places to visit: Yabuli Ski Resort
After have breakfast in your hotel your tour guide will meet you and drive you to Yabuli (about 5 hours driving), the biggest and best ski resort in China. Yabuli Ski Resort is also known as Yabuli Windmill Mountain Resort. Located in the northeastern province of Heilongjiang, Yabuli used to be the royal hunting ground in the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912). It is the oldest resort in China and has Central Asia's longest toboggan run at 5 km. At 3 km, Yabuli also has the longest ski run in the country. The area was granted National Park status in 1993.


Day 10 Yabuli/Harbin/Departure
Meals: B
After breakfast in your hotel, you will be driven back to Harbin. On this day you will be free until your local guide meets you and escorts you to the airport for your flight to next destination Beijing or departure.

 


Note: If you need, this tour can be designed and extended 2-3 days to Beijing.

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.


Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.


Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.


Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.


Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
