Day By Day

Day 1 Arrival in Hong Kong
Upon arrival in Hong Kong, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore Hong Kong on your own.

 

Day 2 Hong Kong
Meals: B
Places to visit: Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Stanley Market
In the morning, take a half day Hong Kong Island tour to Victoria Peak, where you will have a panorama view of the beautiful Victoria Harbour. Explore Aberdeen Fishing Village - an old fishing village where the Tanka people –the fishermen dwelled in Hong Kong since old times. You can take the sampan ride to experience the water lifestyle of the fisherman (the expense is at an individual’s expenses). Visit the Stanley Market - Hong Kong's most popular open air and low-cost shopping centre. Later, free at leisure for shopping or do some independent exploration in Hong Kong.

 

Day 3 Hong Kong/Guilin
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill
Take a morning flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel. After lunch, you will go to visit Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill. The rest of the day at your free relax.

 

Day 4 Guilin/Yangshuo
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Li River Cruise, West Street
In the morning after breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the Zhujiang Pier (40 minutes), where you will begin your Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. The scenery along the Li River is often referred to as the most beautiful under heaven. Upon docking in Yangshuo, your guide will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you will be taken down Yangshuo’s famous West Street, known for its shops, bars, and eateries. Optional night show: Impression Liu Sanjie


Day 5 Yangshuo/ Guilin/Xi’an
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Xian Ancient City Wall
After in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven back to Guilin Airport for the flight to Xi'an. Upon your arrival in Xian, your will be escorted to hotel and visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda after lunch. And then take a bicycle ride along the top of Xian's Ancient City  Wall to get a bird’s eye view of this amazing ancient city.

 

Day 6 Xian
Meals: B, L, D
Places to visit: The Terracotta Warriors, Ancient Bell Tower, the Shaanxi Provincial Museum
After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the incredible Terracotta Warriors. After lunch you will be driven to the Shaanxi Provincial Museum to see Xian's amazing history. You will then be driven to visit Xian’s Ancient Bell Tower, which signaled the time in Xian for centuries. In the evening you will be taken to an amazing Jiaozi (Dumpling) Feast followed by the Tang Dynasty Show, which bring the pageantry and music of the ancient Tang Dynasty to life.

 

Day 7 Xian/ Harbin
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Saint Sofia Church, Central Street, Winter Swimming Performance, Ice Lantern Art Fair
Take a morning flight to Harbin. Upon arrival, you will be met your Harbin guide and then drive to your hotel (check in if room available). After lunch, visit to St. Sophia Church on the Central Street. This church is the largest Eastern Orthodox Church of Byzantine architecture in the Far East. Then you will watch winter swimming performance on Songhua River. And you may choose to take part in some ice activities with own expense, such as ice sloping, dog-sled (about RMB30/pp, US$5 per time), etc.

Around 16.00, drive to watch the Ice Lantern Show at Zhaolin Park. The magical and extraordinary ice lanterns and sculptures have literally made the park an icy wonderland. Dinner is your arrangement.

 

Day 8 Harbin
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Sun Island Snow Sculpture Expo, Siberian Tiger Park, Stalin Park, Ice and Snow World
Start a morning visit at the center of Stalin Park where stands the Flood Control Monument built to commemorate the tremendous feat of the Harbin people in controlling the massive flood of 1957. Continue to view wonderful snow sculptures at Sun Island, and then the Siberian Tiger Park where you will take a specially protected bus to be close with the tigers. After that you will go to the Harbin Ice and Snow World. It is one of the world's biggest ice architecture parks.

 

Day 9 Harbin/Beijing or Shanghai Departure
Meals: B
After breakfast in your hotel, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to next destination Beijing or Shanghai for continuous tour, also departure from China.


Note: This tour can be designed and extended 1-2 days to Shanghai or 3-4 days to Beijing.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.


Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.


Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.


Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.


Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

The tour cost includes the planning, handling, booking, operation and communication charges.
