6-day Beijing Harbin Winter Tour

Day By Day

Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to China. Upon your arrival at Beijing's airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day for you to relax, or explore the city.

 
Day 2 Beijing
Meals: B,L
Places to visit: Tian'anmen Square, Beijing Hutongs
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to start from the Tian'anmen Square to  visit the incredible Forbidden City, home to China's Emperors for over 500 years. 

Go on a visit to Beijing Hutongs - the old lanes and courtyard houses. Take a rickshaw or bike to explore Beijing's charming lanes. The visit to a local family, who've lived in the Hutongs for generations, offers a local perspective of history, and is a highlight of the Hutongs for most tourists. Welcome dinner will have chance to taste the Peiking Duck

Day 3 Beijing
Meals: B,L,D
Places to visit: The Sacred Road, Badaling Great Wall, Ding Tomb
After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the majestic Great Wall (Badaling Section). After lunch next to the Great Wall you will be driven to visit the Sacred Road, the road leading to the tombs of the Ming Dynasty's Emperors. You will then visit the Ding Tomb, the only excavated imperial Tomb of Ming Dynasty.

On the way back to Beijing downtown, you will have a stop for an outside look of two famous Olimpic sites: Bird Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Center).



 
Day 4 Beijing/Harbin

Places to visit: Temple of Heaven. Harbin Ice Lantern Show
After breakfast you will pay a morning visit to Temple of Heaven, once a site where the emperors offered sacrifices to the heaven, it is even larger than the Forbidden City. Its main buildings progressing from south to north are the Circular Mound Altar, the Imperial Vault of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest.

Than transfer you to Beijing airport to take flight to Harbin. Upon arrive in the exquisite and historic Harbin city, your tour guide will meet you then escort you to the hotel for a short rest. After you will transfer to the Zhaolin Park to view the Ice Lantern Show. Ice Lantern Fair, also named the Ice Lantern Show, it is hold every year from 5th January to the end of February in Zhaolin Park. The park located in the downtown, it is a small and peaceful place. Still you can see pretty ice sculptures without many crowded. Especially at night when the ice sculptures are lit then which looks like a magical world.


 
Day 5  Harbin
Meals: B,L,D
Places to visit: St. Sophia Church, Central Street, Sun Island Snow Sculpture Art Expo, Siberian Tiger Park, Ice and Snow World
After breakfast, you start to visit the Harbin St Sophia Cathedral church, with Byzantine style and meaning of God's wisdom for name, look so beautiful as if it had been made by God's hands. The church's original shape and Latin cross footprint was preserved during reconstruction.It was first built in 1907 and rebuilt into brick and wood structure in 1912. It is the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East.

The Central Street, also known the Zhongyang Street, it is the business center and most prosperous street of Harbin city, the capital of Heilongjiang province. It was originally built in 1898 when there were abundant of Russian business man in Harbin, China.

In the afternoon you will visit the Sun Island Scenic Area to see the Harbin International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. When it comes to winter the island will be covered by thick snow and there will be a world-famous snow sculpture show: International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. There are various of massive, huge snow sculptures which is so impressive and amazing.  

Then you will make an safari-style adventure in the Siberian Tiger Park. Siberian Tiger Park located on the north bank of the Songhua River. It is the largest natural park for wild Siberian tigers of China, even in the world. There are over 500 Siberian tigers this park. Here you can see wild tigers closely and take some fantastic photos.

In the evening you will go to visit the Ice and Snow World. Located on the north bank of the Songhua River, the Ice and Snow Amusement World is a major attraction of Harbin Interactional Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival dunging the winter. There are full of awesome ice and snow sculptures created by artists from all around world. Kind note that please wear enough layers of proper clothes and warm shoes to keep you away from the freeze especially when you want to stay there longer to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

 
Day 6 Harbin Departure

Free leisure until a transfer to the airport for the flight to your next destination.

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.


Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.


Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.


Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.


Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
