Day By Day

Day 1 Arrival in Harbin
Welcome to Harbin, your tour guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. You will spend the rest of the day on your own. If necessary, we can follow your arrival time to arrange Zhaolin Park Ice Lantern Show.


Day 2 Harbin/Mudanjiang, China Snow Town
Meals: B, L, D
Places to visit: China's Snow Town

After breakfast, you will transfer to China's Snow Town (Zhong Guo Xue Xiang in Chinese) in Mudanjiang City. It is primarily the Shuangfeng Wood Farm in Hailin City. Linking to Harbin Ice Festival, China Snow Town is regarded as a dreamlike winter paradise for milky snow, high mountains, local traditional wooden houses, villages, animals, trees and the sunrise, which is greatly different from those in the other world's snowy areas.  

At the town's night, you can choose to stay at normal hotel or loacal room with Kang bed (kind of heatable brick bed which is very popular in the North Eastern of China).


Day 3 Mudanjiang/Yabuli

Places to visit: Yangcaoshan Mountain

After breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide will meet you. And then we will take a mini bus to visit the Yangcaoshan Mountain. Yangcaoshan Mountain is a beautiful and peaceful place covered by thick snow where you will enjoy the beautiful sunrise and snowscape. After visiting the mountain, you will take a mini bus back to the China Snow Town.

In the afternoon, you tour guide will escort you to Yabuli, the China's biggest, best, most professional ski resort.

 
Day 4 Yabuli/Harbin
Meals: B, L, D
Places to visit: Yabuli Ski Resort

After have breakfast, you will start your tour by private car or coach to Yabuli Ski Resort and enjoy skiing there. Then drive about 3.5 hours back to Harbin in late afternoon.Yabuli International Ski Resort serves as a world-class skiing training venue in high mountains of good snow with a resort hotel, villas, retail and ski rental shops, souvenir stores, a youth hostel and snack bars. It is also the biggest training center for alpine skiers in China and hosts of many professional skiing competitions. In 1996 and 2009, the 3rd Winter Asian Games and the 24th Winter Universidad were once held here respectively.

The resort has two different skiing areas, the competitive skiing section and and leisure skiing section. Built according the international standard, the competitive section provides an excellent skiing environment for professional skiers. As to the leisure skiing area, there is a comparatively easy and safe field for tourist.


Day 5 Harbin
Meals: B, L, D
Places to visit: St. Sofia Church, Central Street, Flood Control Monument, Sun Island Snow Sculpture Art Expo, Siberian Tiger Park, Ice and Snow World

Harbin St Sophia Cathedral church, with Byzantine style and meaning of 'God's wisdom' for name, look so beautiful as if it had been made by God's hands. The church's original shape and Latin cross footprint was preserved during reconstruction. It was first built in 1907 and rebuilt into brick and wood structure in 1912. It is the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East.

The Central Street, also known the Zhongyang Street, it is the business center and most prosperous street of Harbin city, the capital of Heilongjiang province. The Central Street is a typical represent. The Central Street is considered as the architectural art galley: Baroque and byzantine lining both sides, including Russian bakeries, French fashion houses and Japanese restaurants and so on. It's a good place to see architectural styles as well as for shopping and taste different Cuisine.

The Sun Island Scenic Area (Tai Yang Dao).  It's a great place for escaping the hot summer with cool weather and nice scenery, flowers, lakes and cute animals in the forest. When it comes to winter the island will be covered by thick snow and there will be a world-famous snow sculpture show: International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. There are various of massive, huge snow sculptures which is so impressive and amazing.

In the evening you will go to visit the Ice and Snow World. Located on the north bank of the Songhua River, the Ice and Snow Amusement World is a major attraction of Harbin Interactional Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival dunging the winter. There are full of awesome ice and snow sculptures created by artists from all around world. Kind note that please wear enough layers of proper clothes and warm shoes to keep you away form the freeze especially when you want to stay there longer to enjoy the beautiful scenery.


Day 6 Harbin
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Stalin Park, Winter Swimming Performance, Volga Manor

After breakfast, we will pay a morning visit to Stalin Park and see the winter swimming performance. Then we will drive about 1 hours to Volga Manor. In the evening, we will drive back to Harbin for a relax.

The name Volga maybe always remind people of the Europe's longest river flowing through central Russia and Russian Vodka Wine. Thus a manor called Volga is taken for granted that it was something with Russia. Actually, the Volga Manor offers a glimpse of charming Russian pastoral scene in North China Harbin.
 

Day 7 Harbin/Changchun
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Puppet Manchurian Palace, Eight Ministries of Manchukuo, Culture Square

Drive in the morning from Jilin to Changchun to see the Puppet Manchurian Palace and the Eight Ministries of Manchukuo. Later, visit the Culture Square, where you can take some pictures or buy some local products and tourist souvenirs at its nearby shops, you can taste some ginseng tea (free of charge) if you visit the ginseng shops. Stay in Changchun City.


Day 8 Changchun/Jilin
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Jilin Meteorite Museum, Jilin Rime Ice Island, Manchu Wula Town
Morning drive to view Jilin Rime Ice Island (depends on the weather, Songhua Lake is another option for rime ice sight) and Manchu Wula Town. In the afternoon, we will drive back to visit Jilin Meteorite Museum in Jilin city.


Day 9 Jilin/Antu/Changbaishan
Meals: B, L, D
Places to visit: Yanbian Korean National Minority Folk Custom Garden, Korean Villages, Heaven Lake

Upon arrival at Antu station by morning high speed. Then tranferred to visit Heave Lake of Changbaishan Mountains. Then Yanbian Korean National Minority Folk Custom Garden,  which is located at the Yenchi urban district, 2 kilometer southward Mao'ershan Country Forest Park.


Day 10 Changbaishan/Wanda Changbaishan Resort
Meals: B, L, D
Places to visit: Wanda Changbaishan Ski Resort

The Wanda Changbaishan International Resort is located in Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province, covering an area of 21 sq km. It is only 10 km away from the Changbaishan Airport and 20 km away from the Heaven Lake scenic spot on China-North Korea border.

The Wanda resort is featured by hot springs, golf course, amusement parks of water, snow, land, Tiandi Changbai show, holiday town, groups of six-star brand hotels, top ski resorts and attractions of Changbaishan mountains.


Day 11 Changbaishan/Shenyang

Places to visit: Shenyang Imperial Palace, Marshal Zhang's Mansion, Museum of Finance, Building of Miss Zhao

A morning high speed train about 3.5 hours from Changbaishan to Shenyang, the largest city in Northeast China. Upon arrival, have lunch and visit Shenyang Imperial Palace, a complex of palace buildings dating back to the Qing Dynasty that is second only to Beijing's Forbidden City in historical importance and aesthetic value. Afterward, continue to see the, the Museum of Finance and the Building of Miss Zhao.

Shenyang Imperial Palace
The Shenyang Imperial Palace, also known as the Mukden Palace, is the former imperial palace of the early Qing Dynasty of China. It was built in 1625 and the first three Qing emperors lived there from 1625 to 1644.

Marshal Zhang's Mansion
It belongs to General Zhang Zuolin and Zhang Xueliang, father and son warlords, both have outstanding influence in China's modern history. The residence includes many famous buildings, such as the Museum of Finance and the Building of Miss Zhao.

 
Day 12 Shengyang/Dalian
Meals: B, L, D
Places to visit: Fuling Tomb, Xiaonan Cathedral, Qing Dynasty Street

After breakfast, visit the Fuling Tomb, the Xiaonan Cathedral and its Teaching House, the Qing Dynasty Street and perhaps some feather patchwork shops.


Day 13 Dalian
Meals: B, L, D
Places to visit: Dalian Lvshun Port Arthur & Rock Fort, Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park

Today we will have full day tours to Dalian Lvshun Port Arthur & Rock Fort, Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park.Dalian Lvshun Port Arthur & Rock Fort - a guard at Lushun port and important military projects. Tiger Beach Ocean Park - it is one of the 'top 10 attractions in Liaoning province. Situated in the central part of the southern seashore of Dalian City.


Day 14 Dalian/Beijing/Departure
Meals: B
After breakfast, you will fly to Beijing for your flight to your next destinatin.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.


Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.


Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.


Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.


Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
