Harbin railway bureau recently launched a train specifically for tourists travelling between Harbin in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province and Sanya in South China’s Hainan province.

The tourist train will pass through Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Hebei, Anhui, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region before arriving in Sanya. The train service offers tourists the chance to appreciate beautiful scenery on an eight-day single journey, including vast lands, broad rivers and seas, majestic mountains and dense forests.

The trains are equipped with all modern conveniences, allowing tourists to enjoy a pleasant journey with comfortable beds.

The service is targeted at tourists who want to avoid the cold weather in Northeast China and enjoy sunshine and beaches in tropical areas, and will satisfy the increasing tourism demands between the two cities.

About 1,000 travellers took the first train to Sanya on Oct 30.
