Harbin Water Park to Greet Visitors in Summer Soon

A water park in the city of Harbin Hekou Wetland Park, in Heilongjiang province, is ready to open, on June 18, with many types of amusement, such as swimming pools, a roller coaster over the water, water slides, water-skiing, parent-child pools and kid's pools.

The park covers a 30,000-square–meter area in the city’s Hulan district and costs more than 100 million yuan ($16 million) to build and has been called the largest water amusement park in China’s Northeast. Its most notable attraction is the wave pool, with man-made waves to give visitors some excitement.

The park organizers say they have improved services by providing a supermarket, fast food restaurants, and better restrooms.
