Harbin's CPI Rose by 1.4% Last Month, Below China's Average Level in Large and Medium-sized Cities

It has been learned from the Harbin Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics that in November, Harbin's CPI rose by 1.4% over the same period last year, below the average level in 36 large and medium-sized cities and 15 vice-provincial cities across China.

Harbin saw a CPI growth rate that was 0.2% lower than the average level in 36 large and medium-sized cities in China, sharing the 22nd place with Qingdao, Xi'an and Lanzhou in descending order, with its CPI growth rate 1.1% lower than the highest growth rate of Hangzhou and Lhasa and 1.2% higher than the lowest growth rate of Yinchuan.

Harbin saw a CPI growth rate that was 0.3% lower than the average level in 15 vice-provincial cities in China, sharing the 11th place with Qingdao and Xi'an in descending order, with its CPI growth rate 1.1% lower than the highest growth rate of Hangzhou and 0.6% higher than the lowest growth rate of Chengdu. Dalian, Shenyang and Changchun in Northeast China ranked 5th, 7th and 8th respectively in terms of CPI growth rate, with the CPI growth rate of Harbin lower than that of Dalian, Shenyang and Changchun by 0.6%, 0.5% and 0.2% respectively.
